Mahmoud Idriss

Mahmoud Idriss is a freshman at Duke University from Rochester, MN, planning to major in Public Policy and Statistics. He has traveled to Saudi Arabia, Sudan, and Egypt, and is also an Arabic speaker. His interest in this engagement stems from the Middle East’s complex and multifaceted society, shaped by culture, history, and religion. Mahmoud aims to develop new understandings of the region through a comprehensive representation of its history and to explore the region’s role in international policy.
