Luke Talian

Luke Talian is an U.S. Army officer serving within the branch of Civil Affairs. Born in Nashville and raised in southwest Virginia, Luke graduated from Longwood University in 2012 with a degree in Music Performance. Taking a decidedly left turn, Luke attended Officer Candidate School in 2013 and has since been stationed all across the country and deployed overseas to the Arabian Peninsula. Luke is coming to Sanford from his most recent assignment at Fort Bragg, NC and plans to pursue a National Security and Foreign Policy concentration. As a Public Policy Candidate, he hopes to gain new analytical skills for operating in challenging and dynamic policy spaces across the world.
