I am a second-year Master of International Development Policy student at Duke University, with focus areas in cyber, national security, and agriculture. I hold a Bachelor's in Animal Science from Lubbock Christian University and am pursuing a graduate certificate in Regulatory Science in Agriculture from North Carolina State University. Alongside my academic pursuits, I am an active-duty U.S. Army soldier with 12 years of experience, including deployments to Kosovo, Lebanon, and Jordan.

My masters project focuses on policy strategies to enhance wheat production in Egypt. I examine measures to increase domestic yield while addressing barriers to adopting agronomic solutions. My research explores the political economy of Egyptian agriculture and how policy can bridge the gap between available agricultural technologies and their implementation at the farm level, taking into account Egypt's unique sociocultural context.
