Hugo F. Idárraga holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, a Master's degree in Communication, and another Master's degree in Digital Humanities. He is currently a PhD student in Computational Media, Arts, and Cultures at Duke University. His research centers on the classification data practices in artificial neural network technologies. He explores the intersections between critical machine learning studies, media theory, adversarial technologies, and Global South onto-epistemologies.
