The department of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies offers language instruction in nine regional languages.
Language courses, many of which are taught by native speakers, allow students to improve their conversational and listening skills, deepen their understanding of Middle Eastern cultures, and develop a competitive edge for careers in business, journalism, government, medicine, law and many more fields.
