Jara'id Database

 Jara’id - A Chronology of Arabic Periodicals, 1800-1929 - 2020 Edition  , curated by Prof. Adam Mestyan (History Department) is a research tool, a bibliographic database in TEI XML (in English and Arabic) containing around 3300 Arabic titles and holdings information about the global Arabic press between 1800 and 1929. The website also offers visualizations of the data about the global history of the Arabic press. The dataset is also published in Zenodo : Adam Mestyan, Till Grallert, et al. (2020).
